Please explain this aberration, if you can. It makes me want to sing "Yankee Doodle" ending with a rousing chorus of "Stuck a feather in his cap and called it macaroni!" Did the petal grow that way or did some practical jokester of a bird add it as a conversation piece? I'm just glad I got a picture of it.
