Another fabulous luncheon at school, this time to honor those teachers leaving Collegiate, either moving, changing professions, or retiring. Retiring first grade teacher Sallie was getting an acrostic tribute from her grade level team. The picture on the left shows Sallie watching her colleagues demonstrate all the things they love about her. The picture on the right was taken after Sallie herself was invited to add an exclamation point at the end of the acrostic. Of course the punctuation represents all of Sallie's energy and enthusiam that will surely be missed throughout the school.
How sweet! I hope the comments were recorded or written down for Sallie! My sister hosted a sweet party with some of my favorite ladies (friends and former colleagues) and I wish I had recorded some of the lovely things people said!
