I saw this exhibit for the first time today, but the students and their teachers have been working on it for quite awhile. Each child was invited to share the story of the veterans in their family. I was overwhelmed when I saw the vast collection of photographs. The men and women included in this exhibition served all over the world, in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan. There was even a reproduction of a photograph from the American Civil War. I stood in front of those images and marveled at the generosity of these individuals, willing to sacrifice for their country.
