Fourth Graders are learning Boolean searching to locate books more efficiently. This is a technique which uses two keywords and the modifiers, “and”, “or” and “but not” to initiate a search. It is based on the logic and math concepts developed by Professor George Boole, a self-taught professor living in England 200 years ago. By using two search terms simultaneously, you can narrow your possible choices from hundreds of books to just a few with a single key stroke.
