We’ve been working for several weeks off and on, selecting books for a recreational library in a new school in the neighborhood. Here you see the book that for one reason or another will not be on the shelves. The books in the left-hand picture will be offered to teachers for classroom use. These might be text books, class sets, or books that require the guidance of a teacher to be best used. On the right are boxes filled with books either out-of-date or too mature for high school students.
@olivetreeann The donated books came from so many sources, including other schools and home libraries, it was inevitable that many wouldn’t work for us. Some of the adult titles are going on to thrift shops so their usefulness doesn’t end yet.
