Today Christians around the world celebrate Pentecost, commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus. Pentecost is traditionally considered the birth of the early church. The Holy Spirit is usually represented by a flame, and when I saw these lilies, I immediately thought of fire.
