13 days into my year long daily Literature project. Many years ago I sat what was then called a "G.C.E" in Greek and Roman Literature, The Odyssey was one of the set books and the phrase Dawn appears some twenty times in The Odyssey, and the poem repeats the same line, word for word, each time: "But when early-born rosy-fingered Dawn appeared…". I shall never forget it when a question cropped up in the exam about this phrase which my teacher had waxed lyrical about!
Hi Andrew, we are paired for Get Pushed #633. Given your literature project, I thought of challenging you to illustrate in some way Wilkie Collins' 'Woman in White'. If that's not suitable let me know and I will rack my brains for something else. Cheers Suzanne.
