Life's a beach

St Kilda Beach Melbourne, an urban beach playground very near to the CBD and popular with the many tourists visiting Melbourne for the Australian Open.

A bit choppy and windy for swimming but people were enjoying the sunshine.

St Kilda is an urban beach with competing uses so a lovely beach place but not the best swimming anyway.

Because it's easy access from the CBD, lots of OS visitors going there when they are having a break from the AO tennis.
