did some good gardening with the aid of secateurs, a lopper and a saw! Though I've still got to cut the stuff up to take it to the tip. Also some weeding - which was when I saw the gooseberries (again). It's been dry all day, so I picked them. Used my gardening mug, Peter :-)
@bjywamer I shall stew them with sugar and freeze portions for an icecream and meringue dessert in the Winter. When I've had a bigger crop, strawberry and gooseberry jam is lovely - and also gooseberry crumble!!
