@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks Jak, Not quite there....happy with the top half, the hare is a bit to dark tried to remedy that with some white pastel and pencil but mmmmmm :( Maybe I try again with acrylics. I loved to get dirty with those crayons, if you ever try them have a hoover nearby. When you start blending your colours you can’t get everything in/on your paper so your table is covered with coloured dust ;)
I always forget....but it is much fun to do.
Oh yes, you asked about my inspiration, on Pinterest I have a file with hares I tried to do one of them only changed the hare and did not all of the details... https://pin.it/23lrm0D
@jacqbb It is official YOU are an artist! This is fabulous and an inspiration. Your drwing skills are wonderful and I agree this looks like a picture for a story book!
@grammyn Thank you so much Katy! @kjarn Thanks Kathy:) @serendypyty Thanks Cazzi, it was fun to do! @theredcamera Thank you Ellen, always nice to mix the way of mediums up. @wakelys Thanks Sue, Glad you liked it! @summerfield Lol, I’ve pages and pages with slightly hare looking animals!
@jacqbb He is super! The overall shape is so lovely. Although that is about rabbits, he reminds me of the book Watership Down. Love reading how you did it, I learn on this Gang all the time!
It's whimsical, perfectly proportioned, the lighting looks like moonlight, and your fine details so delicate!!
