I haven’t tried this yet. It’s on my to do list for today. I am encouraged by everyone else’s fabulous photos but don’t hold out a lot of hope for mine to be this good. I really like how love you have achieved the shading
The flowers are so wild and well done! And the taillights also with highlights and lowlights. Very good details.
But those wheels had me laughing. I hope you are not mad at me. I'm just being honest. And i tell you why i laughed: because at first i percieved this image as depicting a pair of fancy glasses, you know the funky ones they have in photo booths at parties. Only after a second did i realize it was the truck.
But honestly and seriously, i like the shading and the flowers. The flowers are so loose as i wish to accomplish and can not because my ocd...sorry: cod (since we're at it). Well done
I am loving all of the interpretation of this tutorial. I will give this a go in the week but don’t hold out much hope for my pre conceived efforts! I will be doing this in watercolour pencils 😳
Why though? The flowers are indeed great. The magic of watercolor only comes to life when you use them loosely. I live them and i strive to be more loose than i am, precisely for their magic. And you've got some magic going on in your flowers, really! The watercolor magic.
And yes, the tyres are not easy, especially since they have to be symmetric.
Don't be discouraged. Keep going! We're in the boat of learning together.
