Bayleaf

I attended a "How to draw buildings in pen and ink" course yesterday. My ( unachievable) goal was to to get Bayleaf a Tudor house drawn accurately. Spent a lot of time on this today, pencil sketch with India ink wash. Fairly pleased with it, but proportions not quite right.

Should have tried the "Repair Shop" barn, much flatter and easier!!

Definitely a Tudor house. I'm presuming that ink is not very forgiving

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Oh, this is awesome! I love the monochrome approach. The building does ask for that. I like the perspective and the... yes! shadows that ground the entire building. I also like the hint of a texture you used on the roof. Very well done.
