I've been part of a community called Sketchbook Skool for some months. It is a closed community with a platform. There is general theme (besides others) called Virtual Travel. Each week a different destination is announced and those who wish can pick up and sketch whatever they like from the destination. This is what determined me to join the platform. They have a rich library of courses of all sorts. You can buy separate courses or you can join their subscription program and have access to all if them. After the subscription ends, your membership to the platform continues. Only the access to the Spark content is suspended. Virtual Travel is not part of Spark (does not require subscription). If you need any guidance, please feel free to reach out to me or to anyone in the staff. They also have a nice free of charge mentorship program. I did not resort to it, but everyone who did was more than thankful for it. Even more experienced sketchers recommend it.
@monikozi this is absolutely amazing but then no surprise because you’re sketching skills are superb How thoughtful of you to provide us with that information. This is beyond my level of a skill or interest at the moment, but it’s very nice of you all the same.
@grammyn Katy, I felt swkward when in winter, on the previous offer, it completely skipped my mind to inform the gang. These offers occut 2.3 times a year. They are not constant.
Anyhow - the skill level is irrelevant, as this platform is very instructive, even for the more skilled. The most important aspect is interest. Because once it is of interest and priority, the money is sorted out. (Money could also be an issue).

@monikozi Thank you so much for your assessment of this site and this promotion. I get the Friday emails from Danny and got an invitation to this deal. Glad to know it's worth the price. I will post-pone signing up for it, as I'll be traveling for the next month or so, hope this promotion is offered again. This sketch you did is so great! I like the mono color you painted it in. The portrait of the young man is phenomenal! Human sketching is way down the line for me!
@theredcamera Ellen, it makes no sense to subscribe if you travel. I will announce here when the offer appears again. I don't plan to engage on this now either, as garden is calling. But I am still in the Yard (as they call the platform) and keeping on with this Virtual Travel section.

I'll definitely go and have a look. I'd like to dedicate more time to my art and this might be just what I need.
