My dads favorite pie. Tomorrow I'm going to take a piece over for him and my stepmother at the assisted living facility where they live. My mother would always make this for him for his birthday, which will be next week. Oh yeah, the brown is cinnamon.... I didn't burn it. 😉
Doesn't look at all burnt. Looks totally yummy. So glad you are able to take him the pie your mother always made for his birthday. I think it is those little things that are so special in a relationship.
