hiking Mt Wachusett

Went on a very challenging hike to the top of Mt. Wachusett. It was a very rocky and steep path and every step required you to place your foot carefully. We had a good laugh because the Ranger told us it was “not too difficult”. However we had a 360° view at the top and it was a beautiful view of the gorgeous Massachusetts mountains. Not totally sure what this shrub is, but Winterberry comes to mind.

So bright and cheerful. What a pretty shrub. Were there lots of birds eating the berries?

@seacreature no but you would think there would be. But on the other hand there were tons of people around so they were probably scared away.

@narayani when we got to the top we discovered we could have driven there.

@bigmxx thank you, there was a long row of these shrubs which looked really beautiful but way too many people around.
