Friend! I was very relieved to learn this is not a wasp or any kind of bee. It’s a hoverfly. As an adult it’s a pollinator and in the larva stage, they feed on aphids and other pesty insects. I’ve been seeing alot of them around this year. Which is great because I’m sure there’s plenty of aphids and other annoying pests around here they can dine on.
