Today is my dad‘s funeral. Very bittersweet day. The kids are all home, so there is joy in that. We get to hear stories, meet a few of his friends and sit down together as one family to celebrate this special man. I can only hope to follow his example of humility, grace, kindness and love.
Yes I've been thinking of you too. I have always marveled at how funerals bring families together, even more so than weddings. It is indeed a bitter sweet time
