From inside the kitchen I watched this little Robin enjoying his breakfast -- I spot him there most mornings !!
Have had a busy morning for me ! My friend took me shopping , and placed the bags on my work surface on returning ! BIG mistake !! I couldn't lift it down one handed --so being clever decided to unpack item by item --I took the loaves and as I placed them in the freezer I heard a plop !! ---- the bag had toppled over - and Ooh what a mess ! cracked eggs all over everything and my lovely large pot of Greek yoghurt -- all over the place --I managed to salvage 10 out of the 18 eggs !! washed the plastic packaging of the other shopping washed out the bag and floor !! MEANWHILE my phone rang my elderly neighbour phoning me on her mobile to say that her main line phone did not work . I promised to pop over after I cleared the mess ! I went over - taking my own phone with me to try it on her line and after a bit of fiddling and putting her phone back on the line it seemed to be working ! She was so pleased -- bless her ! After I came home I made a batch of mince and veg and finished with two chilli con carne , one cottage pie and one bolognaise all dished and ready to go in the freezer !!
Well Beryl I expect you are nodding off in the chair after that day! Full on & I can well imagine how that bag tipped over...the weight ratio would be all to pot! Your friend would have been upset if she could have seen you cleaning all that mess up besides the waste! You have been a good neighbour yourself so what goes around comes around! Have a quiet day tomorrow!

I'm impressed with all you've accomplished today! And what good spirits you are in despite the grocery bag mishap. It looks like this beautiful little bird had a much calmer morning.
