Alfie in the garden during a bout of investigating and keeping the vermin away ! -- The mice and squirrels are kept at bay and unfortunately hedgehogs are also not allowed in the garden Alfie doesn't realise the hedgehogs are friends and not foes in the garden , and Alfie's terrier instincts gets the better of him !!
Surprising how long Alfie's legs are there, you could easily imagine him to be the usual size of a terrier but he Is far bigger. He has a great garden to guard, untidy looking hedgehogs keep out!
It is a good job Alfie doesn't live here, we get lots of wildlife in our garden including koalas, possums, kookaburras, rainbow lorikeets and little corellas. He would be exhausted chasing that lot off.
@onewing He doesn't seem to mind the birds in the garden Babs !! Basically Lakeland terriers were used as ratters and I suppose birds do not have the same smells as vermin for him to hunt and catch !!
