My beautiful surprise sunflower eventually died , leaving all those lovely seeds for the birds . Catastrophe struck last night I went to make a phone-call and all the phones were dead , went to use my mobile that needed to be recharged , I think a scam message on my mobile-- so ignored it ! .- but all this made me think I'm getting too old for all this !!
This morning I took my landline and attached it to the main socket where I was able to phone my friend and got through to her , I then fiddled with the modem box ( my phone runs through this ) - not knowing what I was doing except checking that all were connected properly . Jean phoned me back - so I could get incoming calls . Later I tried the phone and all was in order ! Whew , what a relief - and time for another coffee !
A cold morning but the sun is shining showing up my dirty windows , and not time for my window cleaner to call !!
Glad you sorted it all out Beryl. Even though we have mobiles the main phone is still important to us, we would be so cut off without them! I remember as a child having a party line...how we've come on! This is a very artistic arrangement!
I do hate these kinds of technical problems...
