I bought two hydrangea at half price - Two for the price of one !! The other one is a paler pink ,but this one is a much deeper pink with black stem .and called "Black-Steel " I hope they have time to establish to survive their 1st winter in the garden !
Not such a bright day today and a tad cooler this morning ! - but hey , we are into Autumn now !
Beautiful capture and colours. I have a pink hydrangea in a pot in my garden - I have to keep it in continuous shade and it still suffers the heat. Great to get two for the price of one.
Beautiful, I purchased 3 plants several years ago when they first came on the Market, they will grow very quickly Beryl, this year I did severe air layering with them and they have all rooted but I will not separate them from the Mother plant till next spring...Fav
Your bargain Hydrangea looks beautiful Beryl I like the sound of the black stems with that gorgeous deep pink flower. Hope it survives the winter for you I think I would give it a cosy blanket of dry leaves underneath to keep the frost off.
That pink is a stunning colour Beryl & with black stems even more special! Will they stay pink do you think? I had no idea there were so many varieties of hydrangea, I only know pink, blue, violet & white!
