Today I baked Bakewell tart using Mary Berry's recipe. It was one of the challenges on the Bake off this week. Approved by my daughter only she requested all icing topping instead of the flaked almonds and icing drizzle. hubby went back for second piece. I was quite pleased myself, tasted very good, and pastry was crisp not soggy just thought the frangipane may have needed longer cooking time.
