at the following shutter speeds

(a) 1/8
(b) 1/60
(c) 1/125

I like the middle one because on the left the highlights are a little too bright and on the right the darks are a little too dark. Middle is "just right."

Were you keeping your other settings the same then? Is that why the exposure is different in each one? I like the drama of the darkest version on the right.

@archaeofrog the ISO was set to auto, the aperture changed in each onetime first f10 then f4.5 then 3.5.
I also liked the last one but also the middle I was a little undecided .....

a great comparison. I prefer the one in the middle, the picture is sharpest and the contrast is just right giving the shot more depth.
