A national holiday to honour the dead takes place every year in Mexico on Novmber 2nd. On this day Mexican’s prepare delicious offerings and decorate beautiful shrines in their homes for the deceased relatives, as it is believed the dead’s sports return. Typical Mexican crafts are also created by skilled craftsmen, to express respect and devotion for the dead, such as handmade figurines baked in clay.
