This is what I have been busy with the last two days! A really boring and very mundane task but it had to be done!
Finally getting round be been organised and hopefully understand how to use Lightroom and Photoshop. It's taken me two days to get rid of duplicate photos and folders.
I now have folders with date- event or place or holiday..
Now the next stage is Lightroom which I tried getting used to but pretty much gave up BUT now I'm determined to get on and learn it- especially with hubby not travelling so much now - well not at all at the moment so is able to help me as I have got much better with tech but still sometimes get a little frustrated when I don't quite understand the terms-- hope he has a lot of patience over the weekend while he helps me work through the book :-)
Good for you. I have LR but have never managed to learn to use it, so I use Photoshop CC. The vocabulary involved in learning new technology can be a big stumbling block; so much of it seems (to me at least) to be so unnecessarily unclear.
Good luck to you! I like LR a lot -- it's similar to Aperture but can do more as you get used to it. Just think top to bottom and left to right -- that's how LR is organized. There are tons of tutorials that are available which helped a lot.
Good for you! I'm impressed. I guess I am too lazy. I seem to mange with working through the simple stuff, but balk at the real technical stuff. Anxious to hear about your progress. Have a Happy Weekend with it.
I'm impressed. Im afraid, dspite being so called, retired , I wouldnt have the time toplough through a mtechnical book. I will stick to slighty edited or original shots
Cool shot. I bet you are glad that is done. Quite an accomplishment. I don't have Photoshop but I do like to use Lightroom andt need to learn a lot more about it.
