Tyne Bridge

Hating life right now. Can’t cope at all. I’m all in pieces.
Hoping the visit to the doctor tomorrow will prescribe some happy pills to get me by until the op which I’m hoping will be within the next 12 days. Not sure if I’ll even survive that.
So sorry to hear you're not feeling well...I hope things improve soon 😌

I fell and broke my wrist last year. Opted just for the cast without surgery. Unfortunately, it didn’t mend well. You are probably doing the right thing.

Nice pov of the bridge.I fell and broke my wrist a few years ago. I had to have surgery as the bones were broken in lots of places. I found it easier to cope having a removable brace rather than a big cumbersome plaster cast.

Beautiful light and shadow. It can be so hard sometimes. The only sure thing is that this will pass and the odds are that you will survive, sending you best wishes that you find a way, and get the support you need, to make it easier.

@allie912 thank you it’s what the surgeon recommended so although Findinh it tremendously hard and full of anxiety in the end best to go for the best outcome.

@kjarn thank you, full of anxiety for lots of reasons is the recovery after surgery fairly quick? I feel such an invalid not been able to do a lot.

I had a few days of mild pain but after that I was pain free. I had to wear the brace full time until the stitches came out (although was able to take it off to get my arm in sleeves) then I was able to take it off for showering, dressing and physio. Being my dominant hand and living alone made things a little difficult but I soon adapted.

I wish you a speedy recovery!

@boxplayer Hi Ayla Managed to get propranolol but it was hard work. (which is what my daughter (paramedic) mentioned to me. At first she said well talking therapy but seriously The op will hopefully happen in within two weeks! So after she saw that I freaked out and asked why are you crying? she sent the prescription to my local pharmacy and started them at lunchtime. Mum's plan is trying to keep me busy too.😊
