The Wee Book Inn has a few locations in Edmonton. This one is on Whyte Avenue and is open until midnight. I not sure how busy they are then as I have never been down here at that time but it might be interesting to find out one of these days
i doubt that books will ever disappear. someone in my office reads at least 3 novels a week. i always see him with his e-book. yesterday i saw him holding an actual book and i commented him on it. he says the books are not always immediately available on e-book so he had to make do with the paperback. as for me, i prefer the feel of the paper. also e-books don't have that romantic feel like the actual book.
is that melody i see in there? hi! that is a very nice bookstore. in here the only chain have that 'hospital' look. and they don't let you sit around and browse the books. although they do have one store, called "the world's biggest bookstore", acquired as part of the chain, where there are seats and you can actually read some of their books.
@mummymorris It is a great store and the books are ones that people have traded or brought in so the prices are a little lower which is always a nice thing.
It looks very inviting, nice and bright, love the way you can see the books through the window. We have bookstores here called CHAPTERS. you can spend some time here over a cup of coffee and enjoy reading a book or some magazines at your leisurer. I've read that Chapters is the world biggest bookstore.. for more information on Chapters click on the link below.

Nice shot- love the early evening glow of the lights. I am a book person too. And since I don't have something I can carry around and read electronically, I'll probably always be a book person!
