Rising River by bkbinthecity

Rising River

Yesterday was the official first day of summer. So you can see by this picture of the North Saskatchewan River here in Edmonton that we have had a lot of rain this spring so the level of the water is quite high.
Fortunately we have not had any of the flooding that southern Alberta as experienced over the last couple of days.
We do know a number of people who had to evacuate their homes but fortunately they are all safe. Some have been allowed back into their homes today while others are still most likely a number of days away yet before they can go home
Thanks for keeping those people in your prayers
Beautiful

Lovely scenic. That's about some people having flooding problems in your area. Our rain seems to have stopped here for now and we have been fortunate to not have any flooding. I hope it doesn't turn the other way and turn into a drought here.
