Made the most of the gorgeous weather, we went to Filey and Bridlington, both beach towns in Yorkshire.
Tbh, after being to Scarborough and Whitby before, I wasnt all that impressed. Perhaps because it was out of season, but both places were very empty and felt run down - without the beauty of being rugged. Perhaps I've just been spoilt but I didnt feel the vibe photographically there.
@blightygal we snuck in to see a local methodist country singer ("yorkshires jim reeves") with a bottle of wine! the best day was when we got the bus to scarborough!
great simple shot - always wanted to go to Bridlington as an old flatmate of mine used to live there and we used to have one of those old style beach hut posters in our lounge. Frfom what you're saying maybe i'd be disappointed!!
