Ed's pop's tortoise who's got to know me as apple lady. Whenever he see's me now he stops what he's doing and runs (well, at tortoise speed anyway) and sits on my feet until I feed him. I dare not go around anymore without an apple in case he nibbles on my toes :-)
He's splendid! We moved house and acquired hibernating tortoises for the season. When they woke up they were quite 'active' and when the owner came to collect them she told us they were called Honour and Off'er - made complete sense!
