Had a nice afternoon, picnic in the sunshine with our old neighbour as was her b'day.
Lucy and I went for a walk afterwards this eve, around the uni, as sent Ed to bed early with a cuppa and some aspirin because of another bad migraine so Luce and I just had a little bit of time together.
Oh, I think she may have fleas too, luckily apt at vet on Monday for kidney blood test and booster and will pick up medicine. We were advised before not to go heavy on any medication, she wasn't even vaccinated for over 3 years due to vets recommendation because vaccines can last a long time and her kidney values couldn't take it at the time. Since her overdose, we've not given her the monthly dose as a preventative, just on occasion she gets some. Sadly tho leaves her with the chance of getting fleas, so it looks like she's just caught her first lot! She's itching a lot, but not found one yet through feeling/brushing or seen one. No scabs on her neck either..
There are few living things on this earth that I simply cannot find empathy for. Fleas are such things. And ticks. Ew. Hope sweet Lucy can find some relief!
@aikiuser Yeah me too. I am not sure it is fleas, as stopped scratching so much since gave her a really good brush! Lucy loves rolling around in dirt, may just have been that. She'll get meds anyway on Monday!
