I'm almost finished this patchwork cover for Betty to sit on when she jumps on the sofa. Talk about pampered! I've enjoyed doing it - it's a very relaxing hobby.
@cookie123 It's not difficult if you start with some of the basic designs like tumbling blocks or strip rail. You'll be amazed at how many different patterns there are. It's well worth taking a class as they will teach you lots of basic info and tips. If you're thinking of buying a machine, try and get a quilter's edition or at least one which has a walking foot. Watch out though or you'll soon be hooked!
@busylady Thanks Judith, I have no idea what some of what you said but I am sure I wil hear them again. I presume I ask for a quilter machine, and a 'walking foot'?? if I go to buy one?
