I was so tempted to post another picture from yesterday, as I've been holed up in the kitchen today making leek and potato soup and marmalade. However, I was reminded by Rosie to remember to put out some water for the birds and I was rewarded with a succession of birds visiting the water and the bird table. This one, taken from the kitchen window was the best one, the blackbird all fluffed up against the snow. Thanks for your amazing response to my last two pictures which put them both on the PP - at the same time! Wow!
