We're in the North East - home territory - for a long weekend. On the way to our destination in Boldon we stopped at the newly refurbished Hartlepool Quayside. We took an excellent tour of a renovated original navy warship, the Trincomalee. Well worth a visit and much more to take in than we had time for. This is the view from the quayside looking over the docks. Sadly the pictures I took of the ship were taken on an indoor light setting so aren't worth posting. It's been a day of sunshine and showers and the changing skies were so interesting to watch as we travelled North.
