Indian embroidery

I went to a talk last night and a workshop today, by Melanie Missin. She has a wealth of experience from her travels in India. The Indian embroidery is so intricate, we were all inspired by the tiny stitches and vibrant colours. This piece was done on silk, hence the sheen on the fabric. More about the workshop tomorrow
