Alexander Nevsky Cathedral by busylady

Alexander Nevsky Cathedral

This beautiful cathedral was completed in 1900, when Estonia was part of the Russian Empire. The church was erected to demonstrate Russian supremacy. It is now called the Estonian Orthodox Church. The church towers have 11 bells, one of which is the largest bell in Tallin, weighing 15 tons.
