J A @byrdlip My family has one of those clamps for hot food products, we use it for corn mostly.
I just saw today(September 11, 2022) that Call me Joe @joemuli is doing a "mundane" photo challenge. Even though the hot food clamp is a very useful and strong tool I think if food was ever Joe's theme within the "mundane" theme it would be perfect for it. The clamp is used probably in thousands of households however is the kind of object a lot of people would not study in detail, nor in its style, nor in how it is made. It is just one of those second nature muscle memory activities or actions people on seasonal basis do.
P.S. Joes theme this month(Sept. 12-30) is activity shoes.

@sutlivesam Ohh, I got lot of those jars w/c we use for Kombucha and kefir.. sorry,I don’t have any hot clamp holder,I use silicone and fabric pot holder,maybe if you participate in the “sneaker”mundane and win,then u could use the hot clamp holder next game..( love the cool idea,tho’)

@joemuli Thank you for the welcome! Maybe I’m calling it the wrong thing but the holder(maybe what you called the silicone holder) next to the pickles is what I was referring too.
