Shake-it Up!
Another macro of salt.
I think I like the one I posted yesterday (with turquoise background) better.
My oldest daughter came home, and saw me photographing salt on a plate.... she said "Desparate are we?!?"
I think they almost look like ice crystals

thanks all. with Daylight savings, we turned the clocks back an hour on Sunday so its dark around 430pm now!
The lighting is just from the dining room light fixture.

At first glance I thought that your pic must be of hail or sleet ...I was quite surprised to see that it is salt crystals! Very nice close-up!

I did use a macro lens. The lighting is just from the dining room light.

It is fleur de sal (cooking salt) so they are bigger grains to begin with.
