My OH and I went walking while our son did his Dof E practice trip on a lower path. I was keen to get to the top to capture a cloud inversion but by the time we got to the top we were enveloped in mist! It was very still for the most part. On our way down the clouds swept aside and we saw a wild and beautiful autumn scene. Rather too many people though making the most of the opportunity but I guess we have to share. It would be good if all could leave the countryside as they found it though.
