The seasonal pond is looking unseasonally full for July - it’s been a damp start to the month, for sure. Compare this photo to the same shot on 29th April. But it’s still warm and a walk around the wood, with the sound of rain pattering on the sheltering leaves and the sweet smell of damp soil and undergrowth is always a pleasure.
