An old friend and his dog, Shadow, were my company today. I think it’s fair to say that Shadow and my own dog, Harley, got on ok, albeit cautiously, together, it being the first time they had met. Both being labradors of gentle temperament helped, although there were a couple of squabbles over the toys!
