Karen is an ex nursing colleague of mine. She asked me quite a while ago if I would take her wedding photos & today was the day. Having done one wedding back in June, it was slightly easier, but its not something I would like to do all the time & certainly not on a bigger scale!
Are you giving her the raw, unprocessed images or will you be painstakingly removing leaves, ropes and other 'unwanted' items from the images she chooses for her album?
a beautiful photo , I've done 5 weddings, my daughters !!!, a former colleague from work and two which were as a result of people seeing my photos on social media. It's Ok as a 'one off' and nice that I got some money for charity, but like yourself not something I'd like to professionally
@30pics4jackiesdiamond if I gave her raw unprocessed images she wouldn’t be able to see them , because not being into photography I doubt she has the software or ability to be able to see & process them!
Happy processing!!! weddingphotographer friends say that is what they charge their time for these days, takes them ages, even with PS presets compared to the day at the wedding!!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond and they would be right, it takes far more time than photographing the wedding! But you can’t give someone an unfinished product ( or at least I don’t think you can) it would be like saying I’ve made you a wedding cake, but you just have to bake & ice it yourself! They aren’t in a hurry, they are away for the next two weeks anyway.
