Is it a bee? I’m no apiologist so I’m not 100% sure. Anyway, it was sitting on this leaf outside my front door and posed just long enough for me to get this shot.

@obsidian Thanks for the ID. I googled them and discovered they mimic bees and are often mistaken for them. It was very cooperative when I took the photo, just sat there posing.
