I spotted hundreds of snow geese feeding on a grass field as I was driving. By the time I had parked, put my telephoto lens on my camera and climbed out of the car something had spooked them and they took to the air. I just had time to snap this as they flew away.
Must have been quite a sight. I drove to a place last week that I thought the snow geese might be - and they were - well over 100 - seemed to be 3 flights of them. At first they were all in the field, but as my car neared they started flying off. Stopped and waited a while and many circled back. They're something to see, aren't they!
