@ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. I do tend to highlight my subject in post. Some may disagree but I feel strongly that this is an artistic choice that helps advance the image. I shoot in RAW and often spend a lot of time dodging and burning trying to get the elements just the way I want them.
Very nice.
As for those who disagree to your way of editing, they are free to do so. And they are invited to take their own photos and edit them the way they like it :D
@cdcook48@monikozi I too shoot raw and tweak most everything, at least a little, later in post. I don’t see any reason for criticism of that. Nor do I really see much point in making a virtue of only posting SOOC shots. There are tools available to us to produce the images we want. Every modern camera uses technology of some sort to produce an image. Even if you take a jpeg from the camera and post it, with no changes, the camera has applied settings to produce that image. Great picture here by the way, the sky, the colours in the landscape and the shack add up to a great composition.
@gardencat Yes, totally agree. After all, each of us is free to do as they please, don't they? Where would be the fun if everyone treated the photographs the same way?
