BC has endured historic rainfall that has caused mudslides and flooding around much of the southwestern part of the province. This collection of shots from my iPhone show the extent of flooding around my property. Fortunately, the water has not entered my home. My neighbour (That's him wading through my back yard) was not so lucky, he has three inches of water on his ground floor. At least the rain has stopped now.

It's a bit fun to see the neighbour in what looks like a waterproof jacket, yet barefoot, or at least not wearing rubber boots.
Oh goodness Chris! I have been thinking about you as the reports kept coming in. Glad your home is intact, at least for now. This is a great representation of the weather impact.
@monikozi He actually had shoes and socks on. He was pretty upset, he just wanted to have a look where his property borders mine. Not sure why, there was nothing he could do. The property slopes down a bit (the ruler showing 11 inches is in the corner nearest his yard) so his house sits a little lower than mine which is why he got flooded inside and I didn’t. The rain has ended and it is supposed to be clear for a few days.
