The gate to Oak Lake Park is locked as the park is still closed to the public, but the east shore of the lake borders an open parking lot in front so people are still able to pull in and enjoy the view on that side. I was there just as the sun was starting to go down, keeping company with the ibis', Egyptian geese, ducks, and blackbirds. There was even a rooster walking in the middle of all the water fowl.
