We have a massive hydrangea bush in our yard. It has grown bigger every year (as they do!) and I don't think I've ever seen as many flowers on it as this year. Unfortunately the weight of them and the occasional bad weather we've had over the last few months has caused the stems to flop down. Now the flowers are dying and the bush doesn't look like much until you get close up. I love the way the petals change colour as they get older - these were originally blue.
I had decided not to attempt 'rainbow month' but now I'm seeing the colours everywhere - maybe next year!
