I hadn't got around to any photography today, so went down to the park with @nzkites when he got home from work. His response was 'not another sunset!' but the sky was really pretty so I couldn't help myself. At one point I was taking half'n'half pics on my iPhone and he was photographing over my shoulder - when I saw the blurred background of his image, I was reminded I wanted to try some ICM (intentional camera movement). This was my favourite panned shot.
@yaorenliu Thanks for commenting, and for your fave and follow! I've seen some amazing examples of this technique but not tried it before. It took a few attempts to come up with enough blur so it didn't look like a mistake.
@deeganp@thrumylenz@nzkites@dide Thanks for your comments and faves. I'm very excited to have made the Trending page for the first time ever, thanks to you all! @homeschoolmom I'm already doing a half'n'half project in one of my other albums, but thanks for the tip, will do.
@helenw2@suzanne234@thistle@happypat@ellida Thanks for your comments. The tide was out and there was no wind, so the water was quite calm. @wyomingsis You're welcome, glad you liked it! I would probably enjoy the landscapes in your part of the world too. @jernst1779 Yes give it a go Jean, it's a lot of fun.
@jacqbb Thanks for the comment and fave! I was really pleased with how this turned out.
