I got out early this morning and drove out into the countryside. When I got back home and downloaded my pictures I discovered that most of the pictures included old barns. So, I'll create my own theme this week and post a picture of a different barn each day.
I don't live in the country either but I'd like to. I guess that's why I spend so many evenings and weekends driving around to places I've never been before. It's very calming.
I love barns... maybe because I have many good childhood memories playing in the barn at my grandparents (I grew up on a farm, but really never played in the barn at home, just at my grandparents... maybe because I had cousins to play with there). Love the layer of yellow (Indian Mustard?) in the foreground and those two round golden bales of hay in the barn. Beautifully composed!
